![]() ![]() I think it’s going to have to go back, unfortunately. Sadly I think the night cream I bought was expired (couldn’t find the date on the box, but it sort of crumbled after sitting on my face for a few minutes) :( Major sad face. Yesterday I also bought few skincare products from No.7, which I was so excited to try, I see my blogger friends from UK use No. ![]() Whenever there’s a new drugstore product that comes out, it disappears in seconds and I can never find what I want when I go there. It’s such a huge and very clean place with such nice and sweet employees, but the makeup, skincare and beauty aisles are always so freaking empty. With that being said, I think I’m pretty much done with my local Target. You sort of get the best of both worlds here. If you don’t want to go as pigmented as “ Fiji” but like the pink undertones and “ Ballet slippers” is a bit too sheer, “ Limo-scene” is a perfect mix between the two. “ Limo-scene” is a bit more pigmented than “ Ballet-slippers” and I’m not just saying this to justify another nail polish purchase :). One thing that I love about Essie’s polishes is the fact that regardless of how many coats I apply (usually 3 is my limit, still have to apply that top coat after that!) the formula is quick to dry, doesn’t smudge or get those little bumps on the surface. ![]() Two coats created a flawless “barely-there” look, but I went with three coats. The formula, I found, was a bit thin and streaky, but that’s usually the case with sheer colors (at least with Essie’s sheers). It’s classy, timeless, simple and very lady-like. “ Limo-scene” is a a sheer, pastel pink and it’s ideal for French manicure. Usually, I’m not a fan of sheer polishes, but I do tend to use them once in a while. I already have Essie’s “ Ballet slippers“, which is a similar shade, but oh well, you know me. I wanted to try something new, basic and a bit sheer. Yesterday I stopped by Target and picked up “ Limo-scene” by Essie. It’s back to basics this week! I gave my nails a little rest and haven’t painted them for the past couple of days, and I have to say that I couldn’t help but feel a bit “naked”. ![]()
